Objecting to a UWV decision
If you disagree with a UWV decision, read its objection instructions immediately. Asking a question by phone is not the same as filing a formal objection.

1. Check the facts
Save the complete decision, envelope or digital notification and note its date and reference. Identify exactly which part you dispute: entitlement, calculation, recovery or medical assessment may need different evidence.
2. Take action
Use the submission method and deadline in the decision. If you need more time for reasons, ask promptly about a provisional objection and supplementing it. Do not wait for a phone response while the filing period expires.
3. If the problem continues
Explain the disputed facts and attach relevant evidence through UWV's secure route. Keep receipt confirmation. An objection does not automatically suspend the decision; ask about urgent help if income stops. Seek individual advice for medical or complex disputes.
